Accessibility

I have made every effort to ensure that this website is accessible to the widest possible audience.

The website uses code that complies with the latest xhtml/css web standards as recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This ensures that the site is compatible with all modern web browsers and any future releases.

Using xhtml and css the sites content is separated from the design. This means that the content can be displayed on text-only browsers and is clear to screen readers.

I have also strived to conform to at least level AA of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). The WAI is a set of guidelines that suggest methods of developing websites that are accessible to individuals with disabilities.

To aid the visually impaired a 'Text Size' option has been included at the top of each page on the website. This allows a visually impaired user to increase the font size and help with legibility. A user can also use the built-in text size option of any web browser to get similar results.

While I endeavored to make this site as accessible as possible there may be some areas of the site that are slightly less accessible. If you experience any difficulties with the accessibility of this website please contact me here and I will attempt to rectify the problem.
